Salad Bar Party

When we think of a salad, or even order one at the local steak house, it is pretty undeniable that we can all predict what will be placed in front of us.  Lettuce, tomatoes, a couple slices of cucumber and maybe a sprinkle of hard boiled eggs; the typical salad is, well, boring. And it is especially boring if you are on a nutrition plan that limits the croutons, egg and dressing.  It leaves you with a couple sad veggies and lettuce, a far cry from satisfying and healthy.

The key to making a killer salad is variety.  Colors, textures and flavor can take this side dish to show stopper.  In fact, it is one of the go-to meals I use when hosting a get together, product party or celebration.
